This is probably the oldest overheard conversation of interest in my memory. And I thought to myself, y'know what, Mister Chav, you're right...

Everyone knows "Red sky at night, sailors delight. Red sky at morning, sailors take warning." You can't argue with science.

@Gibson Twist: You speak the truth.

They must have been drunk or something.

@GalaxyCharizard: or just bored, you wouldn't believe the conversations when you get bored.

i'll bet even 'chavs' would find this funny, if they ever read comics... or anything.

Lol I'm impressed that he had watched LOTR and also remembered that phrase, and also to give a logical answer haha, though it's usually 'red night farmers delight' or so my nan has always said :)

Reply reverendjack, August 13th, 2012, 6:15 pm

@Spazzmatazz: i yell that at people all the time, too - but it's different because of my American accent.

Reply Spazzmatazz, August 13th, 2012, 6:17 pm

Reply zapdam (Guest), August 14th, 2012, 3:53 pm

Umm... maybe i'm being dumb, but what does chav mean?

Reply MoogleSam, August 15th, 2012, 11:15 am

@zapdam: It is slang for those guys that think they are 'cool' and 'tough' when they are really just annoying usually but also usually not dangerous even if they act aggressive because normally they just want attention or to intimidate people. It is a word that is mainly used in England from my knowledge because here in Scotland, we call them 'neds'.

Reply Alyxo07, November 10th, 2012, 6:16 pm

@MoogleSam: Nuhuh, neds and chavs are two completely different things! Although... now that I think about it, I'm not sure what the difference is...
Everything I know is wrong o.O

Reply Guest, November 18th, 2012, 7:36 am

@Alyxo07: the only difference is that one is the scottish term and the other the english, I know this because I live in scotland and call them neds yet my mum is from england and calls them chavs.
